eating local honey allergies

How can I use honey to ward off allergies to pollen?
I have not tried to use honey to make myself immune pollen, because I have not been able to find local honey, and I do not know how. First I was told to eat everything as much honey as I could and over time my body would get used to the pollen. Then other people told me to eat honey on a regimine for one year or longer. It's confusing = / Does anyone really know how I can use honey to get rid of my spring allergies time?
You really can not use honey as a local immunotherapy. The reason some people think it will work is that they believe that honey contains pollens in your area. This is true. What they do not understand that, mostly, the bees do not visit the plants that cause allergies more. The allergy inducing pollen from plants that use wind to spread their love. These pollens are white and very small and white. The plants bees have visited a heavy waxy yellow pollen, so the bee is there in the first place! All pollen of grasses and trees which may be in the honey is just because the bee took a rest. It does not hurt to try, taste good honey on toast is delicious and a cup of tea, but do not get your hopes for healing. Allergies are chronic and can be controlled but not cured. Things that work control for seasonal allergies is to stay indoors, keep doors and windows closed, run a HEPA air. If you must go outside when pollen counts are high, when you just took a shower, wash your hair and change clothes. Keep your pets indoors too … because they bring pollen in their fur.
