The Many Types of Allergies
An Allergy is a body response that takes place in people who are susceptible to certain substances. A substance that might be harmless to a nonallergic person possibly will cause mild to tremendously severe symptoms in an allergic person. A person can develop hypersensitivity at whatever time, but in a good number of cases the very first warning sign would be known or visible in childhood.
A substance that causes an allergy is known as an allergen; the allergens that cause most asthma, hay fever, and other respiratory allergies consist of house dust, mould spores, pollen and the dandruff or hair of house hold pets.
There are different types of allergies for different people. The most common types of allergy include asthma, hay fever, and a year round nasal allergy called perennial allergic rhinitis. Other allergies are cigarette smoke allergy which is caused by the thousands of poisonous substances and irritants that are found in cigarette smoke. Cockroach allergy, this is a widespread indoor bug allergy which is due to some particular proteins that are found in the saliva and the feces of the cockroach.
Dust mite allergy is an allergic reaction to infinitesimal life forms that exist in the dirt found in all houses. Food allergy takes place as soon as the food generates an irregular reaction through the body’s immune system. A lot of foods may cause allergic reactions; these foods would include chocolate, cow’s milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and certain seafood such as shrimps, crabs, and shellfish. Additives such as food colorings and preservatives are also common allergens.
Grass pollen allergy is a more complex kind of hypersensitivity to prevent since it is regional and persistent. Hay fever which is also called the pollen allergy is the most usual allergy that can be found in the United States which has the symptoms same as having a cold which why it is hard to avoid.
Other types of allergies would be the house dust allergy not just dirt, but a collection of particles that can cause allergies. The latex allergy is an allergic reaction to certain proteins in latex rubber. There is also the mold allergy a person can develop a hypersensitivity to the molds and yeasts that are frequently found indoors and outdoors.
And other allergies are pet allergy, ragweed allergies, and the tree pollen allergy, eczema (very itchy red swellings on the skin) allergic headaches, and allergic digestive disorders.

People from the olden days in all probability had allergies from different elements, and these elements still continue living in a good number of animals and in people as well. In modern medicine, the name allergy is frequently used to refer to an expert or a professional of that field of medicine.
